Muhammad Timeline

Muslims claim that the proof that Muhammad was a prophet is in the Bible, so he must be a true prophet.

“I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.”

Deuteronomy 18:18-19

They point to the above verse as proof that Muhammad is a true prophet of God (Allah) but the truth is the above verse could only apply to aJew. What they fail to acknowledge is the rest of the verse that proves that Muhammad was NOT a Prophet:

“But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ – when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.”

(Deuteronomy 18:20-22)

A true prophet of God speaks the truth that God reveals to him. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 says that a true prophet is perfect and never wrong. Therefore, when someone claims to be speaking for God and then makes a statement that does not come to pass, that person “has spoken presumptuously” and is NOT God’s prophet. Muhammad not only did not speak the truth, he attributed his mistakes to Satan.

“Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father, the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

John 8:43-44

Who Was Muhammad?

Historians tell us Muhammad used to withdraw to a cave, spending days wrapped in his thoughts. He heard bells ringing and had ghostly visions. He thought he was demon possessed, until his wife reassured him he had become a prophet. Convinced of his status, he was intolerant of those who rejected him, assassinated those who criticized him, raided, looted, and massacred entire populations. He reduced thousands to

slavery, raped, and allowed his men to rape female captives. All of this, he did

with a clear conscience and a sense of entitlement.

Muhammad was born in approximately 570 AD. By the time he was six years old, Muhammad was an orphan. Spurned by his mother in his infancy and left in the care of a Bedouin couple, he had a loveless childhood. He then passed to the care of his grandfather and uncle who took pity on him and spoiled him. He was illiterate, unable to read, write and do basic math calculations. This explains why it is so obvious that The Qur’an was written by man and not God. When you take into account all the inaccuracies and mathematical errors in the Qur’an it becomes very obvious that it is NOT the word of God. The God who created the universe knows how to do math calculations and does not make mistakes.

Not receiving love at a time he needed unconditional love and not receiving

discipline when he needed to learn about boundaries, Muhammad developed narcissistic personality disorder, a trait that made him a megalomaniac bereft of conscience.

He fantasized about unlimited power, expected praise and admiration, believed he

was special, and expected others to believe him and go along with his ideas and

plans. He took advantage of others, was jealous, yet believed others were jealous

of him, and was extremely hurt when rejected, even killing those who deserted

him. He lied and deceived, feeling entitled and justified in doing so. All these are

traits of narcissistic personality disorder.

Thanks to another mental illness, temporal lobe epilepsy, the prophet of

Islam had vivid hallucinations he interpreted as mystical and divine intimations.

When he claimed he heard voices, saw angels and other ghostly entities, he was

not lying. He could not distinguish reality from fantasy. He heard bells ringing and had ghostly visions.  He thought he had become demon possessed, but his wife reassured him that he had become a prophet.  Convinced of his status, he was intolerant of those who rejected him, assassinated those who criticized him, raided, looted, and massacred entire populations.  He reduced thousands to slavery, raped, and allowed his men to rape female captives.  All of this, he did with a clear conscience and a sense of entitlement.

He was magnanimous to those who admired him, but vengeful to those who did not.  He believed he was the most perfect human creation and the universe’s raison d’être.  Muhammad was no ordinary man. He was a psychopathic narcissist.

Muhammad also suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder, causing

his fixations on numbers, rituals and stringent rules. This explains why he lived

such an austere life and why his religion is filled with so many absurd rules.

In the later years of his life Muhammad was affected by acromegaly, a

disease caused by excessive production of a growth hormone, resulting in large

bones, cold and fleshy hands and feet and coarse facial features such as enlarged

lips, nose and tongue. Acromegaly occurs after the age of 40 and usually kills the

patient in his early 60s. It causes erectile dysfunction (impotence). On the other

hand temporal lobe hyper activism increases libido.

This explains Muhammad’s sexual vagaries in his old age and why in the later years of his life he had such an insatiable craving for sex. He would visit all his wives in one night to touch and fondle them, without being satisfied. His impotence explains his insecurity, paranoia, and intense jealousy of his young wives. He ordered them to cover

themselves, lest other men would cast a lusting eye on them. Today, half a billion

Muslim women veil themselves, because Muhammad was impotent. Muhammad’s illnesses explain a lot of the mysteries of Islam.

The combination of all these psychological disorders and his unusual

physiognomy made Muhammad a phenomenon that set him apart from ordinary

people. His uneducated followers interpreted his differences as signs of his

prophet hood. Like devotees of all cults, they rose to champion his cause with

dedication. By defying death and butchering others they made Islam the world’s

second largest religion, now the biggest threat to world peace and the survival of

human civilization.

At the time of his birth, Mecca was one of the most prominent towns in the area, totally dominated by his tribe, the Quraysh. The prosperity of Mecca is attacked in various verses in the Qu’ran. For almost twenty years, the Meccan’s totally opposed Muhammad. Many tribes in the area had many gods but as the years went by, Muhammad embraced monotheism (believing in only one god).

About 595 A.D. Muhammad married an older widow named Khadija. He married as many as twelve plus women, the youngest when she was six years old that he consummated the marriage when she was nine years old.

About 610 AD, his wife Khadija convinced him that he had been visited by the Archangel Gabriel. He heard voices that he thought were Satan’s but his wife convinced him that the voices were that of the angel Gabriel  and he must be a prophet. He started out preaching to family and friends. Three years later, in 613 he started preaching in public. Things went very slowly in the beginning, winning over only two to three converts a month. He wanted desperately to win over converts from his native Mecca. In 628, he set out from Medina, with a large group of followers to perform the pilgrimage at Mecca with plans to modify the pagan rites performed by Meccan’s. They were stopped by the Meccan’s but the confrontation ended in the truce of al-Hudaybiya that granted the Muslims the right to make the pilgrimage the following year. The next year, the Meccan’s evacuated the city for three days and allowed the Muslims to do their pilgrimage.

In 629, the Meccan’s broke the truce and Muhammad assembled a large group and set out for Mecca. In the end, he negotiated a surrender of the city.  .

When Muhammad conquered the pagan Mecca, it worshipped 360 idols. The four most important among them were the moon god, “Sin”, also known as “Hubal”, also known as “Allah“, and his three daughters: Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Al-Manat.

Muhammad’s attempt to impose monotheism by keeping just Allah and ridding the other 359 Meccan idols faced resistance from Meccan’s who held Allah’s three daughters in very high esteem.

Eager to be accepted as a prophet in his native Mecca, Muhammad initially conceded that Allah approved of Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Al-Manat. But unable to reconcile three extra goddesses with his declared monotheism, Muhammad later reversed himself, confessing, “I have fabricated things against Allah and have imputed to him words which he has not spoken.” (Al Tabari, The History of Al-Tabari, vol. 6, p.111) and said he had mistaken the words of “Satan” (Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, pp.165-166) as Allah’s.

Given Allah’s true identity, the words of Allah and Satan would not be hard to confuse. Had Muhammad claimed to be a prophet of the God of the Bible, however, someone who hears from Satan, mistakes Satan’s words as God’s and fabricates “things against” God” is set for death.

More about Muhammad

Muhammad ibn Abdullah, who died in 632 AD, was the founder of Islam. The most authoritative biography of Muhammad is titled “The Life of Muhammad (Sirat Rasul Allah)” originally written by Muhammad ibn Ishaq around 760 AD. No copy of that book remains, but around 800 AD, Ibn Hisham, a student of Ibn Ishaq reconstructed the biography from fragments and notes that he had collected.

In his own notes, Ibn Hisham made a rather troubling confession — that he had omitted from the biography “things which it is disgraceful to discuss; matters which would distress certain people.” (pg. 691) To calibrate just how disgraceful or distressing those things must have been, here is a sampling of the accounts that Ibn Hisham deemed worthy of including in the biography:

Child Rape: “He married Aisha in Mecca when she was a child of six or seven and lived with her in Medina when she was nine or ten.” (Muhammad was 52 at the time.) (pg. 792)

Mass Murder of 600-900 Jews: “Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina and dug trenches in it.  Then he sent for [the Banu Qurayza Jews] and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches. There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900.  This went on until the apostle made an end of them.” (pg. 464)

Using Camels to Rip a Woman in Two: Muhammad sent Zayd b. Haritha to avenge the loss of some Muslims’ lives during a previous raid on Wadi’l-Qura.  After killing several villagers, they took Umm Qirfa, the wife of Malik, prisoner. They killed her “by putting a rope to her two legs and to two camels and driving them until they rent her in two.” (pg. 665)

Approval of intercession by gods other than Allah: Anxious to attract people to Islam, Muhammad was reciting a verse from Allah, “Have you thought of al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat the third, the other (all gods of the Quayrish tribe in Mecca).” Then, Satan put on Muhammad’s tongue, “these are the exalted Gharaniq (high flying cranes) whose intercession is approved.” (pg. 166) This verse was later revised after complaints by Muslims that it implied polytheism, and it can be seen in its present form in Surah 53:20.

Muhammad’s unusual death and burial

Given the foregoing sampling of the things Ibn Hisham did include in the biography, the offensive accounts he deleted must have been truly disgusting. While we must look elsewhere for what Ibn Hisham found so disgraceful and troubling in the original biography of Muhammad, we can certainly find evidence even there that something was quite unusual about Muhammad’s death and burial. Sharia Law stipulates that when a Muslim dies, he should be undressed and washed by male relatives or his wives, wrapped in a shroud, and buried immediately after the funeral prayer. (Reliance of the Traveler, Section g.). However, none of this happened in the case of Muhammad.

According to Ibn Hisham’s account, Muhammad died at noon on a Monday. Since he had not named a successor, rather than tend to Muhammad’s burial, his followers locked the door of the house and had a meeting nearby to decide who would be the next caliph. Once Abu Bakr was named the caliph, they returned to their deceased Prophet on Tuesday. Ali ibn Abi Talib (Muhammad’s son-in-law and a future caliph) and some others took charge of washing him. Ibn Hisham observed, “The apostle’s body did not present the appearance of an ordinary corpse.” (pg. 688) Curiously, he did not elaborate.

Hadith collector Abu Dawud recorded this account of what happened next: “We did not know whether we should take off the clothes of the Apostle as we took off the clothes of our dead, or wash him while his clothes were on him. Then a speaker spoke from a side of the house, and they did not know who he was: Wash the Prophet while his clothes are on him. So they stood round the Prophet and washed him while he had his shirt on him. They poured water on his shirt, and rubbed him with his shirt and not with their hands. Aisha used to say: If I had known beforehand about my affair what I found out later, none would have washed him except his wives.” (Book 20, Number 3135)

What was it that Muhammad’s favorite wife, nineteen-year-old Aisha, found out later? This is a bit delicate, so we will just quote Ali’s exclamation: “O Prophet, thy penis is erect unto the sky!“* This detail was never mentioned in Ibn Hisham’s rendering of Muhammad’s biography.

Yes, when Muhammad died he suffered from a permanent post-mortem erection, sometimes called “angel lust.” The medical term for the condition is priapism, and it sometimes occurs when people die suddenly by hanging or due to stroke, poisoning, or brain embolisms. This is the same condition that can cause erections “lasting four hours or more” after taking popular prescription medications to treat erectile dysfunction, such as Viagra and Cialis.

So after washing Muhammad through his shirt they plied on three layers of burial garments and put him back on his bed. Then his companions disputed over where to bury the Prophet of Islam. It was finally agreed to bury him directly below his bed. So Wednesday night they started to dig his grave.  His wife Aisha didn’t even know about the burial until she heard the sound of pickaxes. Ibn Hisham also reported, “No man acted as imam in the prayers over the apostle.” (pg. 688)

Why the secrecy in burying Muhammad inside a house in the middle of the night? Not only was his appearance disgraceful and distressing, but his companions feared disputes would break out over this successor. In fact, the rivalry between Sunni and Shiite factions of Islam began at that moment. Four of the first five caliphs, the “rightly guided” successors to Muhammad, were murdered. Furthermore, his companions feared Muslims would leave Islam when they learned about Muhammad’s death. Ibn Hisham commented, “I have heard that Aisha used to say, ‘When the apostle died the Arabs apostatized and Christianity and Judaism raised their heads and disaffection appeared.’“ (pg. 689) Muhammad’s death prompted the Ridda Wars (or Wars of Apostasy) in which thousands of Muslims died trying to escape from Islam. To this day, Muslims are still trying to leave Islam –an act which is a capital crime in Islam and in no other religion.

Does that really sound like someone who was a prophet? What prophecies did he make that came true. He made a couple very vague ones, but nothing that could proven to be accurate.
